Unite for Literacy is an online ebook resource with e/audio books. Some can be read in Somali, Karen, Burmese, etc. There are lots of languages available. To find the books that are narrated in different languages, go to the menu at the top of the first page of the site and select "Narration." Then, on the next page, go to "Narration Languages" and select: "view all 36 languages." Chose the language desired and the books that are narrated in that language are displayed.

Discover Science is an interactive science site that gives students in grades K - 6 an opportunity to learn about many things, including plants, animals, energy, matter, and many more areas of study.
California Distance Learning is a site for adults or high school students who know some English, but would like to improve their skills. This site has listening activities based on current events and provides vocabulary, comprehension, and spelling activities to help students develop their English language skills.
Dance Mat Typing is a site that teaches students to type. It is interactive and fun and has many levels to improve typing skills.
Into the Book is a reading comprehension resource for elementary students and teachers. We focus on eight research-based strategies: Using Prior Knowledge, Making Connections, Questioning, Visualizing, Inferring, Summarizing, Evaluating and Synthesizing. This is an excellent site for students in grades 4 and 5 seeking to improve their writing skills. It is also a valuable tool for adults. You can sign up for the free program or skip the login and work anonymously.
