Jen LenihanJen Lenihan began her teaching career as a special educator. She has been teaching EL at SA since 2012 and has learned so much from the students and families in this amazing community! Jen lives in Burlington with her husband and two children.
Mary Kay O'BrienMary Kay O'Brien has taught EL students in Arizona, California and Vermont. Mary Kay loves creating shows with music and dancing. Another activity she enjoys is creating pictures and movies using green screen. She enjoys her students and loves being a part of the community here at SA.

Ganga SharmaGanga Sharma came from Bhutan and he is the multilingual liaison for the Nepali language community here in the District. Mr. Sharma left Bhutan and lived with his family in a refugee camp in Nepal. In 2008, after 17 years in the camp, Ganga and his family moved to Vermont. Currently, he lives in Burlington with his wife and two children.
Chaska RichardsonChaska Richardson has been teaching English learners in Burlington for 16 years. She loves teaching literacy and math at The Sustainability Academy. Chaska lives in Huntington with her husband and two dogs. When she's not teaching, she likes to ski and play tennis.

Poe PohPoe Poh is the multilingual liaison for the Burmese/Karen community from Burma. Poe Poh and her family came here from a refugee camp in Thailand. She lives with her family here in Burlington. Poe Poh enjoys working with students and parents and loves being part of the Burlington School District community.
Mohamed MuktarMohamed Muktar came to Burlington from Dadaab, Kenya in 2005. He is the multilingual liaison for the Somali and Somali Bantu communities. He is the co-founder of SBTV, a news station that broadcasts information about Kenya, Somalia, and places all over the world. He enjoys working with the parents and students.
